Here are two simple software tools for Microsoft Windows to help you be more productive.
The first tool is Sizer. Whether you’re a web page designer or an everyday computer user, Sizer helps you resize windows to standard or custom sizes. I use Sizer to check out what web pages look like in different sizes as I design web pages. When Sizer is running, you can right-click on the Maximize button on any window and a pop-up menu will display a selection of sizes to resize the current window to.
Sizer is a freeware utility that allows you to resize any window to an exact, predefined size. This is extremely useful when designing web pages, as it allows you to see how the page will look when viewed at a smaller size. The utility is also handy when compiling screen-shots for documentation, using Sizer allows you to easily maintain the same window size across screen grabs.
The second tool is Eyedropper. Eyedropper is an excellent tool to help you learn what colors are being used on a web page that you come across in your web travels. You can find out what color hex values are being used on a web page so you can “borrow” a color for your web page. That’s what I use it for. 🙂
Eyedropper, an extremely useful freeware program has become even better. Praised by the Web designer community and DTP experts, and critically acclaimed by many shareware-freeware hosts, including 4 cows at Tucows Network, Eyedropper excels at its primary task: picking the colour value from any pixel of the screen.

These 2 software tools are very useful for both web designers and regular computer users alike because nowadays, even regular computer users already do basic web designing for their social networking sites like Twitter and so on. Thanks for this recommendation!
